Sources 2 Projects & Process in Amsterdam 2014!

Training Mentors for European Screenwriters

We are glad to announce our upcoming Sources 2 Projects & Process – Training Mentors for European Screenwriters in Amsterdam/Netherlands. The workshop will be realised with the support of the Netherlands Film Fund and in cooperation with Binger Filmlab.

The session will take place at LAB 111 in the heart of Amsterdam, 4 – 8 November 2014.

Internationally acclaimed Sources 2 advisers Louise Gough (Australia), Arash T. Riahi (Austria/Iran) and Michael Seeber (Austria) will guide the sessions aimed at colleagues who wish to expand and refine their approach and methods as mentors, experience the Sources 2 projects and process philosophy and explore the rules and non-rules. Fifteen highly qualified professionals have been selected for participation. The workshop will gather participants, experts and guests from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Iran, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland.

Sources 2 chairman Rolf Orthel will open the workshop with a keynote, The Recipe, followed by an introduction to Creative Europe/MEDIA and a welcome reception hosted by Creative Europe MEDIA Desk Netherlands.

Open Events: The programme will be completed by lectures and case studies open to the local film professionals. Admission on registration only, free of charge.

Handling Ideas: Getting the Stories out of the Heads and onto the Table
The visionary developer, consultant and mentor, will present a case study.
– Wednesday, 5 November 2014, 18:00 – 19:30 at Rialto

Laurie Hutzler – Emotional Tools
The internationally renowned developer, story/character consultant and creator of the Emotional Toolbox® will present The Character Map and give a brief introduction to The Nine Character Types.
– Thursday, 6 November 2014, 18:00 – 19:30 at Rialto


During the following three months participants are invited to stay in touch with each other and the advisers, exchanging experience and receiving mutual advice. Sources 2 Projects & Process will conclude with a round-off: Each participant will get individual advice and feedback by her/his adviser.
