content & work process

The programme focuses on the mentor's role, introducing practical work on case studies at different development stages.

Together with experienced Sources 2 advisers, participants explore the process of reading, interpreting, breaking down and analysing the project; getting to know the author’s processes; choosing mentoring strategies; testing and revising these strategies; mentoring the process of writing a screenplay or ‘writing documentary’; developing individual approaches to mentoring.

Participants work in three groups led by one adviser each. During the work process the advisers rotate groups, exposing the participants to a variety of mentoring approaches. The programme is completed by lectures, keynotes and discussions in plenary sessions.
