We are happy to announce our upcoming workshop Sources 2 Compact which will be supported exclusively by FilmCamp AS! We are extremely grateful and proud to continue our fruitful 13-year partnership with FilmCamp, an internationally operating regional Film Fund and production centre in Northern Norway, offering a funding scheme, professional support and infrastructure for films shot in the region as well as educational activities.
Sources 2 Compact focuses on professional script development and training. The session will take place from 3 – 8 October 2019. The venue will be FilmCamp where all participants, advisers and guests will be accommodated.
The workshop will gather participants, mentors and guests from Austria, Germany, Finland, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and US.
Fifteen feature film and creative documentary projects have been selected for participation. Writers, directors and producers will develop their projects and receive professional training, working in three groups led by Karol Griffiths (United Kingdom/US), Arash T. Riahi (Austria/Iran) and Michael Seeber (Austria). The four-day session will be followed by a coached three-month re-writing period and a follow-up session.

Torfinn Iversen– Sources of Inspiration
The Norwegian filmmaker will speak about his Sources of Inspiration, preceded by the screening of his film Oskar’s America (premiered at Berlinale 2017, followed by an international festival circuit). Torfinn will give insight into his approach to filmmaking, focusing on his first feature film.
